Desesh Return & Exchange Policy

At Shifting Gaia, we partner with Desesh to bring you eco-friendly personal care products including dental, shower, skincare, and shave essentials designed for a lower-waste, more sustainable daily routine. As a marketplace retailer, our return process follows Desesh guidelines.

Return Window
Desesh offers a 30-day return policy. You have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. To initiate a return, you must first contact Desesh with a description and photo of the issue before sending anything back. Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Items must be in the same condition as received, unworn or unused, with tags, and in their original packaging. Proof of purchase is required.

Exchanges
Desesh does not offer a direct exchange process. The recommended approach is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. For purchases made through shiftinggaia.com, please contact us at hello@shiftinggaia.com before initiating any return or exchange.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Items sent back without prior return authorization
  • Items not in their original condition
  • Items that are worn or used
  • Items missing tags or original packaging
  • Items returned without proof of purchase

Return Shipping
If your return is accepted, Desesh will send you a return shipping label along with instructions on how and where to send your package. Who bears the cost of return shipping beyond the provided label is not specified by Desesh. For purchases made through shiftinggaia.com, please contact hello@shiftinggaia.com to begin the return authorization process.

Refunds
Once Desesh receives and inspects your return, they will notify you whether the refund is approved. If approved, the refund is issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Additional processing time may be required by your bank or credit card company. If more than 15 business days have passed since your return was approved and you have not received your refund, you should follow up. Purchases made through shiftinggaia.com must be handled through Shifting Gaia and not directly with Desesh. Please contact us at hello@shiftinggaia.com for all return and refund requests.
