Canary Return & Exchange Policy

At Shifting Gaia, we partner with Canary to bring you plastic-free, vegan personal care and oral hygiene products including toothpaste tablets, mouthwash, hand soap, and more. As a marketplace retailer, our return process follows Canary guidelines.

Return Window
Canary offers a 30-day return and refund policy. You have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return or refund. To be eligible, your item must be in the same condition you received it, unused, still sealed, and in its original packaging. You will also need your receipt or proof of purchase. A return must be requested and authorized before sending any item back. Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Exchanges
If you accidentally ordered the wrong item, Canary can work with you to exchange it for what you prefer. The process is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. Non-Returnable Items

  • Most personal care products, which cannot be returned for safety reasons
  • Sale items
  • Gift cards
  • Products purchased outside of the USA, as Canary does not offer returns, refunds, or exchanges in international markets

Return Shipping
If your return is accepted, Canary will send you a return shipping label along with instructions on how and where to send your package. Who bears the cost of return shipping beyond the provided label is not specified by Canary. For purchases made on shiftinggaia.com, please contact hello@shiftinggaia.com before sending anything back.

Refunds
Once Canary receives your refund request or inspects your return, they will notify you whether the refund is approved. If approved, you will be refunded to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please allow additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since your return was approved and you have not received your refund, please follow up. For purchases made on shiftinggaia.com, all refund requests must be handled through Shifting Gaia and not directly with Canary. Please contact us at hello@shiftinggaia.com.
