Packaging

All soaps are available (1) unwrapped or (2) wrapped in home compostable cellophane. Shampoos and conditioners are wrapped in deli-paper and printed with vegetable ink, all of which is 100% recyclable. Lip balms are packaged in aluminum (a forever recyclable), but require the EPE liner to be removed before recycling. All external packaging is made from paper, paper tape, and card and is 100% compostable or recyclable. Superfly Soap is abundantly clear about packaging sustainability and details can be found alongside each individual product.

Material Sustainability

Superfly Soap's formulations use limited and simple ingredients that are mostly plant based and sourced from low impact crops. For ingredients that carry a potential environmental risk, such as cacoa butter, the brand claims to source only from UK suppliers that source sustainably. Superfly Soap uses a mix of essential oils and synthetic fragrance oils in body products, noting that because of the large strain on resources essential oil production often entails, synthetic alternatives are often a more eco-friendly option.
