The Souchong Debut Earthen Tallow Candle opens with the deep, smoky character of lapsang souchong tea essential oil, then settles into layers of choya loban resin, vetiver, Moroccan cardamom, and siam wood. It is a scent built from place, tracing the fog-heavy mornings and woodsmoke of Northern California through a blend of essential oils and resins that are fully disclosed, nothing synthetic, nothing vague.

Fog-glazed terracotta vessel hand-thrown and pit-fired by Berkeley ceramicist Matt Fishman using locally foraged Sierra Mountain clay; each piece carries natural variation in color and texture, making it genuinely one-of-a-kind.
Non-toxic wax blend of regenerative tallow from pasture-raised Northern California cattle, raw California beeswax, and organic calendula CO₂ extract burns cleanly for approximately 25 to 30 hours.
Reusable, food-safe vessel is hand-washable and built to continue well past the last burn, reducing single-use waste without sacrificing craft.
