Public Goods Return & Exchange Policy
At Shifting Gaia, we partner with Public Goods to bring you high-quality everyday essentials across bath and body, home, and cleaning, designed with minimalist values and conscious living in mind. As a marketplace retailer, our return process follows Public Goods guidelines.
Return Window
For defective, damaged, or incorrect items, a full refund or replacement may be requested within 30 days of the delivery date. For all other returns, unused products in their original packaging may be returned within 14 days of delivery. Food items must remain unopened to be eligible for return.
Exchanges
Public Goods does not describe a standard product exchange process in their published policy. Gifts received with a membership purchase cannot be exchanged. For any exchange inquiries related to a shiftinggaia.com order, please contact us at hello@shiftinggaia.com.
Non-Returnable Items
- New membership purchases are non-refundable
- Gifts received with a membership purchase cannot be exchanged
- Opened food items are not eligible for return
- Used products or products not in their original packaging are not eligible for return
Return Shipping
Public Goods provides a prepaid return shipping label for defective, damaged, or incorrect items. For returns due to other reasons, a prepaid return shipping label is also provided after you contact Public Goods to initiate the return. For purchases made on shiftinggaia.com, please contact hello@shiftinggaia.com to begin the return process.
Refunds
For defective, damaged, or incorrect items returned within 30 days of delivery, a refund is credited to the original payment method upon receipt of the returned product. For other eligible returns made within 14 days of delivery, the refund is credited to the original payment method once the item has been received. Public Goods notes that additional processing time may be required by your bank or financial institution. If your order was placed on shiftinggaia.com, please contact us at hello@shiftinggaia.com to initiate your return or refund request. Do not contact Public Goods directly for shiftinggaia.com purchases.
