The Checkroom Return & Exchange Policy

At Shifting Gaia, we partner with The Checkroom to bring you beautifully crafted, sustainable wool coats. As a marketplace retailer, our return process follows The Checkroom's guidelines.

Return Window
Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery. All returned merchandise must be unworn, unaltered, and in its original condition. Only items purchased through shiftinggaia.com are eligible for return or exchange.

Exchanges
Exchanges are accepted within 30 days of delivery. Email hello@shiftinggaia.com with your order number and details to initiate an exchange. A free return shipping label will be provided for US orders.

Return Shipping
A free return shipping label will be provided for US orders upon approval. Please use your original box and packaging where possible. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

Refunds
Once your return is received and approved, you will be notified by email. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5 business days, minus the original shipping cost. Contact hello@shiftinggaia.com for any questions about your return or refund.

Coat Care
To maintain the structure and longevity of your wool coat, professional dry cleaning is recommended. If your coat requires a repair within the first year, The Checkroom will repair it free of charge. Contact hello@shiftinggaia.com for repair requests.
